"Here's a bright idea: Turn off the lights!" says the NY Daily News. After Mayor Michael Bloomberg unveiled his proposals to green up NY City, the NY Daily News called for the City to turn off unnecessary lights at many of the City's public buildings. While the focus on the article was interior lighting left on after hours, SELENE agrees with the News. We think the practice should extend to unnecessary exterior lighting too.
