Brookhaven adopts new lighting code

The town of Brookhaven has adopted a new lighting code that seeks to "protect and promote the public health, safety and welfare, the quality of life, and the ability to view the night sky by establishing provisions and a process for review of exterior lighting."
This code is available on our NYS Ordinances page as a PDF download. We commend Brookhaven on their forward thinking and support for all aspects of a quality environment.
